Terms of Service – Queen Creek Concrete Co.

Last Updated: March 10, 2026

Thanks for choosing Queen Creek Concrete Co. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) explain how we work together on your concrete project. They’re written in plain language because we believe in clear communication and fair expectations.

When you request a quote, approve an estimate, schedule work, sign a proposal/contract, or allow work to begin, you agree to these Terms, along with any written proposal, invoice, or project agreement (collectively, the “Project Documents”).

1) Our Services

Queen Creek Concrete Co. provides professional concrete services in Queen Creek, Arizona and nearby communities (typically within about a 20-mile radius, schedule permitting). Services may include:

  • Concrete driveways (new installs, replacements, extensions)

  • Concrete patios (new slabs, replacements, extensions)

  • Stamped & decorative concrete (patterns, color options, sealing plans)

  • Sidewalks & walkways (new paths, replacements, safety upgrades)

  • Concrete repair & replacement (remove-and-replace, cracked/uneven concrete solutions)

  • Monolithic slab foundations (for qualifying projects, when applicable)

We use quality materials and proven installation methods based on the agreed scope.

2) Estimates and Pricing

Free estimates

Most projects include a free estimate. Quotes are based on visible conditions, measurements, and information you provide. If hidden issues are discovered after work begins (example: unstable soil, buried debris, unmarked lines), the price may change. We will discuss any adjustments with you before moving forward.

Quote expiration

Written estimates are typically valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated. Material prices and availability can change after that time.

Scope changes

Changes to the agreed scope—such as dimensions, finishes, demolition, access, added items, or design updates—require a revised quote and your approval. Approval by email or text may be accepted when agreed in writing.

3) Project Timeline

Scheduling and completion

We provide estimated timelines, but concrete work depends on weather, site readiness, and material availability. Delays can happen due to extreme heat, rain, wind, supply issues, inspections, or scheduling constraints. We’ll communicate changes as soon as possible.

Weather and curing

Arizona conditions—including heat, sun, wind, and monsoon storms—affect concrete placement and curing. For safety and quality, we may pause or reschedule work when conditions aren’t suitable. Weather-related delays are not a breach of these Terms.

4) Your Responsibilities

To help your project run smoothly, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate project details and respond to questions needed to confirm scope

  • Ensure clear and safe access to the work site (including gates, side yards, and parking access)

  • Obtain HOA approvals and permits unless we agree otherwise in writing

  • Remove vehicles, furniture, and other obstacles from the work area

  • Keep children and pets away from the construction zone

  • Identify known site features such as sprinkler lines, drainage lines, low-voltage wiring, septic systems, and other underground items

If these items are not completed, delays and/or additional charges may apply.

5) Payment Terms

Deposits

Many projects require a deposit to reserve scheduling and purchase materials. Deposit amounts and timing will be listed in your Project Documents.

Final payment

Unless stated otherwise in writing, the remaining balance is due upon completion of the agreed work.

Payment methods

Accepted payment methods will be listed in your Project Documents (often check, cash, or electronic/digital payment).

Late payments

Overdue balances may result in work suspension and may be subject to late fees or interest as permitted by law. We also reserve the right to pursue lawful collection remedies, including filing a lien where allowed.

6) Concrete Characteristics (Normal and Expected)

Concrete is a natural material. Some characteristics are normal and do not mean poor workmanship, including:

  • Minor hairline cracking

  • Color variation and shading

  • Slight texture differences and small surface imperfections

  • Effects from temperature, wind, moisture, and soil movement

  • Variations that occur as concrete cures and ages

We guarantee professional installation according to the agreed scope, but we cannot eliminate the natural behavior of concrete.

7) Warranty Coverage

Any workmanship warranty we offer will be described in your Project Documents.

Common exclusions may include (but are not limited to):

  • Damage from chemicals, fertilizers, salt/de-icers, harsh cleaners, or misuse of pressure washing

  • Cracking from ground movement, settlement, expansive soils, erosion, or tree roots

  • Discoloration, fading, or normal weathering over time

  • Damage from impacts, excessive loads, improper drainage, or poor water management

  • Issues caused by third-party work or changes after installation (landscaping, plumbing, grading, irrigation changes)

8) Subsurface Conditions and Utilities

Underground surprises can happen. We may encounter:

  • Unstable soil, voids, or excess moisture

  • Buried debris, rock, or old construction materials

  • Unmarked utilities or private lines (gas, water, electric, irrigation, low-voltage, septic, etc.)

Utility responsibility

You are responsible for identifying private or unmarked lines. We are not responsible for damage to utilities or lines that are not clearly marked or disclosed.

If subsurface issues arise, we will explain options and any additional costs before continuing. Additional work requires your authorization.

9) Liability Limitations

To the extent permitted by law:

  • Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the portion of services giving rise to the claim

  • We are not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages (example: loss of use)

  • We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events outside our control (weather, supply disruptions, inspections, acts of nature)

Some limitations may not apply under certain laws or situations.

10) Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel:

  • Notify us as soon as possible in writing (email or text is acceptable)

  • Deposits may be non-refundable if materials have been ordered, custom items are in production, or work has begun

  • Cancellation fees may apply depending on project stage, scheduling impact, and costs already incurred

11) Project Suspension or Termination

We may suspend or terminate work if:

  • Site conditions become unsafe

  • Access is denied or the site is not ready as agreed

  • Payments are not received as scheduled

  • These Terms or the Project Documents are materially breached

We aim to resolve issues through communication first, but we reserve this right when necessary.

12) Photos and Marketing (Optional)

With your permission, we may take before/after photos for documentation and marketing. If you do not want photos taken or shared, tell us in writing and we will respect your request.

13) Legal Framework

These Terms are governed by Arizona law. Any disputes will be handled in state or federal courts serving Maricopa County, Arizona, unless a written project agreement states otherwise.

14) Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updates are effective upon posting and apply going forward.
